Last Lock Keeper, Wanne-Eickel 2014

Last Lock Keeper

We visited the last lock warden Reiner Blazejczak on his tower in Wanne-Eickel.

Since 2015 the lock is fully automated. Self-service takes place either automatically and remotely or manually by the skipper.
